BRIAN BATISTA is an artist in paint, video and all things technical. He has received numerous awards for his video artworks, as well as showed in the Art Gallery of Calgary, national film festivals and local artist run centres. Having spent four years teaching workshops and classes, and being an integral part of the development of EMMEDIA, Brian has since moved onto other new endeavors. Currently freelancing. Loves Anime.
JULIA AIN BURNS has been known to associate with artists and art havens. She has been involved with film production, artist run centres, film festivals, and arts service organizations. Drawn to the subversive nature of underground cinema, she is excited about this opportunity to share the rare and unique. Loves Animation.
 
ANDY EYCK has an extensive background in film programming and curating. He was the co-founder and director of programming of the Calgary International Film Festival. He also co-founded Movies That Matter, the monthly documentary series, which he is still currently programming. In addition to everything else he has done, he is addicted to movies, music and magazines and is passionate about bringing the greatest variety of film possible to Calgary audiences. BRENDA LIEBERMAN is all over the place in film. Over the last six years she has focused primarily on festival programming, travelling to festivals in search of films and ideas for Calgary. Over the last three years she has branched out into on-set production work with feature films. After working with the CSIF as a Programming Coordinator in '98, she continued as Festival Producer and Programming Coordinator for Calgary's Fairy Tales International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival and now currently with CUFF. ANDRA LOUIE has made her way, after extensive travel and cool jobs, as an event planner for a local communications company; while continuing to finish her Public Relations Degree at Mount Royal. Having a passion for film and music Andra stays as one of the busiest we know... Getting her hands in CJSW, independent films and many local festivals, in addition to attending Sundance for her third consecutive year. Loves Narrative.
 
KARI MCQUEEN has been a programmer, artist and arts educator for 12 years. She is currently Program Coordinator for EMMEDIA and Artist in Residence at Sir John Franklin Jr. High School. In her studio practice, Kari explores the parallels between hand-produced work and multiples, utilizing linguistics, languages and symbolism. She has exhibited in Canada, the United States and Australia. Currently, Kari is working on an experimental documentary, Pipe Dreams & Sewer Rats. Loves Experimental.
