description

An eccentric shut-in recognizes his missing granddaughter off a milk carton, and, in a hapless quest to find her, stumbles into a whimsical conspiracy involving cults, cows, and secret families. A largely improvised comedy from the directors of the 2016 CUFF selection MEATHEAD GOES HOGWILD, hall of fame architect and untrained actor Nick Luzietti stars as THE SECRET POPPO.

DIRECTOR'S BIO
Sean Pierce is a Chicago Based Independent filmmaker as well as a freelance videographer and editor. He co-founded the independent film collaborative Punctuation Films in August of 2013. He directed his first feature in 2014, MEATHEAD GOES HOGWILD (CUFF 2015 selection). THE SECRET POPPO is his second feature film, with the same co-directing partners.

Zach Harris is a Chicago Based Independent filmmaker and part of the independent film collaborative Punctuation Films. He co-directed his first feature in 2014, MEATHEAD GOES HOGWILD (CUFF 2015 selection). THE SECRET POPPO is his second feature film, with the same co-directing partners.

Nevi Cline is known for her work on MEATHEAD GOES HOGWILD (2015), THE SECRET POPPO (2017) and short film A SATURDAY NIGHT STORY (2016).
