Presented in partnership with Telus STORYHIVE
Join a cast of local actors for a live script read of the feature comedy EVENTS TRANSPIRING BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER A HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL GAME - currently in development and shooting this summer. As Middleview High School’s woeful boys basketball team prepares for another certain loss, a series of unusual dramas take shape around its periphery, including a lost Pomeranian, Phil Jackson's triangle offence, a disappearance in the photocopy room, high-school existentialism, and a confrontational experimental theatre group.
Get a teaser of this home-grown Telefilm Talent to Watch project, give feedback to the writer/director and CUFF alum Ted Stenson (2017's A SHORT FILM ABOUT PERVERTS), and learn more about the indie screenwriting and workshopping process.
