Stéphane
France, 2022: 79 minutes: Canadian Premieredescription
A young director desperate for success accepts help from a former film stuntman so that he can finish his film on time. Blinded by his thirst for recognition, the young man fails to see that he is playing a risky game with a man who, under the guise of great sympathy, reveals himself to be increasingly unstable and dangerous.
STÉPHANE is a strange found footage experience, somewhere between a cringe comedy, a meta movie and a realistic nightmare.

DIRECTOR'S BIO
A writer, director and actor, Lucas Pastor made his debuts posting humorous and offbeat videos on YouTube in the early 2010. At that time, his passion for video was still new, but slowly his interest in image and comedy took over his other activities and led him in 2013 to the door of YouTube channel’ creators “Le Monde à l’envers”, with whom he made his first acclaimed appearances in TV Shows parodies. In parallel with his acting projects, Lucas started building his career as a writer, collaborating with Cyprien - a famous French YouTube creator - on his animated series ROGER AND HIS HUMANS. In 2020, he wrote two episodes of the last chapter of CALLS, broadcast on CANAL + and created by his great friend Timothée Hochet, with whom he co-wrote and co-directed a year later STÉPHANE (2022), his first feature film.
