description

After living off the grid for two years, Becky finds herself going toe to toe against the leader of a fascist organization, on the eve of an organized attack, in the sequel to the 2020 action-thriller BECKY.

Two years after she escaped a violent attack on her family, Becky attempts to rebuild her life in the care of an older woman - a kindred spirit named Elena. But when their home is broken into, and they are attacked by an extremist group known as the "Noble Men," Becky must return to her old ways to protect herself, her loved ones, and her country. Directors Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote take a fresh approach to the action horror-comedy, which recently had its World Premiere at SXSW.

DIRECTOR'S BIO
In 2017, Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote partnered and independently wrote, produced, and directed their first feature film, THE OPEN HOUSE. Angel and Coote would return to Netflix to direct the psychological thriller HYPNOTIC. Angel got his start at the age of 20 when he wrote and directed a 1/2 hour, single-camera pilot called HALF. He went on to develop and sell several more shows. THE OPEN HOUSE was a directorial debut for Coote, who double-majored in Film and Music at The New School in New York City. Currently, Angel and Coote are in development on a number of projects in both features and TV.

press for The Wrath Of Becky

"There’s a charming simplicity to a genre film that can be introduced as “Let’s just kill some fascists!” and Angel & Coote know how to pace and deliver this kind of gut punch of a movie."
