A traveling knife salesman is stranded and forced to wait at a rural rest stop, and suddenly finds himself in the middle of a violent hostage situation upon the arrival of two bank robbers who are on the run after a recent heist.

The debut feature from writer/director/editor Francis Galluppi, is a neo-western heist thriller that channels Tarantino and the Coen Brothers, among other greats. DIRECTOR'S BIO
Francis Galluppi is a filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, California. Galluppi's style is an embodiment of a do-it-yourself mindset as he has written, directed, produced, edited, and scored all of his own films to date. The first short film, HIGH DESERT HELL, went on to win several awards, including the "Wes Craven Award" at the Catalina Film Festival in 2019. THE GEMINI PROJECT, Galluppi's follow-up film, won "Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Short Film'' at the Burbank International Film Festival in 2020. THE LAST STOP IN YUMA COUNTY is his feature directorial debut.
