Mr. K, a travelling magician, finds himself in a Kafkaesque nightmare when he can’t find the exit of the hotel he slept in.

Played by Crispin Glover, Mr. K's attempts to get out of the shrinking hotel only pull him deeper inside, entangling him further with the hotel and its curious inhabitants, including women who claim to be French but have British accents, a flamboyant artist named Gaga, and a kitchen worker named Anto, whose only ambition is to become a whisker of eggs. With incredible production design, this absurdist surreal film from Norwegian filmmaker Tallulah Hazekamp Schwab had its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival in the Platform competition.

DIRECTOR'S BIO
Tallulah H. Schwab was born in Oslo, Norway in 1973 and came from a long line of actors and theatre designers. She virtually grew up within the walls of the national theatre.?As soon as she graduated from school, she moved to Amsterdam where she first studied film directing at the film and Television academy and later theatre at the theatre school. She made a number of short films for which she received awards both inside and outside of Holland. Her single play MIMOUN and her series TAART were both nominated for an Emmy award and her feature film, CONFETTI HARVEST was selected for the Generation program at the Berlinale festival in 2015. MR. K is her latest release, which has its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival in the Platform competition.
