Calgary’s first independent video game arcade with custom-built cabinets!

Each April, the Calgary Underground Film Festival launches five new indie video games that are free to play, and they remain accessible at Globe Cinema throughout the year. These arcade cabinets feature five new, independent video games. CUFFcade is the only curated arcade of its type in Canada. CUFFcade will remain at Globe Cinema throughout the year, and will be free to play.

CRAWL by POWERHOOF - MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA 
A dungeon crawler where your friends control the monsters! Battle through and power up your hero. 

DOWNWELL by MOPPIN - TOKYO, JAPAN 
Venture down a well in search of untold treasures with only your Gunboots to protect you. 

MOTHER RUSSIA BLEEDS by LE CARTEL STUDIO - PARIS, FRANCE
An old-fashioned beat 'em up with big doses of adrenaline and trippiness.  

OLLI OLLI 2: WELCOME TO OLLIWOOD by ROLL 7 - LONDON, ENGLAND
Drop in to Olliwood and prepare for finger-flippin' mayhem. 

RACE THE SUN by FLIPPFLY - MADISON, USA
Hurtle towards the sunset at breakneck speed in a futile race against time. 

More about CUFFcade

CUFFcade is an initiative which we started in 2015. Each year we will launch a new set of games at the April festival.
